What animals make the best/worst pets?
I’ve not long come in from replacing another feed bin lid where rats have chewed through trying to get in. I have collapsed stone walls where rats burrow in to nest.
I have floorboards chewed away and actually flushed one back down the toilet last month.
These are not cute cuddly pets, they are a scourge and curse on country folk.
I won’t even go into finding one dead when it chewed through the 240v mains cable supplying the house.
I’ve trapped, shot and drowned them, and they still keep fighting back. After cockroaches, I reckon they will be all that’s left in this world when mankind has finally finished annihilating itself.
As for reptiles? Well at least they don’t eat my power cables!
