Don’t eat yellow snow.

What is the last thing you learned?

If you’ve ever had to live or work in sub-zero conditions then you will know that water has this annoying habit of coming in lumps.

So to have a good old British Cuppa you need to boil some water. So outside you go to the white fluffy stuff and gather absolutely loads, because it seems to shrink when you warm it up.

Fresh snow is pristine and tastes like ….water.

Yellow snow tastes like something else, especially if your sanitary arrangements have not been discussed before setting up a campsite.

Brown snow is to be avoided at all costs.

This is not the last thing I learned, but it’s a great bit of advice. Heed it well.
