Do you believe in fate/destiny?

Fate or destiny, same outcome different name. No-one can foretell the future, but you can sometimes see how things are going to turn out. Live fast, die young, that sort of thing.

Do I believe in pre-destiny? That everything is planned out? No, I personally don’t think that the gods look down on us as if we’re chess pieces. We make our own luck, our prudence or stupidity will often determine the outcome.

What I do believe, however, is that a positive attitude can shape the outcome of an event.
