I used one of these to complete a maths based HNC in Design & Production Engineering whilst in the RAF.
At 23 years old I was considered ancient by my fellow students.
Since I had a well paid job I could afford one of these, much to the envy of my classmates who were all around 18 years old and on student grants—if they were lucky.
How times have changed in this world now!
That calculator is now an app on my smartphone. Amazing!
