What is your favorite drink?

There we go, a nice mug of tea. Milk, no sugar. I sometimes add a teaspoonful of honey if it’s cold out, but otherwise it’s Yorkshire Tea and full fat milk. It’s the perfect thing to have at my elbow when I’m writing and my flask is already in my gig bag for today’s session at Skendleby Hall in Lincolnshire.
I have only drunk coffee abroad, and then only accompanied by a nice cognac. Not having drunk alcohol for several years, a coffee and brandy would probably write my day off now!
Water is also not to be shunned—playing sax in a warm room, and a pint of water can disappear in an hour. It’s thirsty work blowing a sax!

So keep all your fancy drinks! Builders Tea for me! No sugar!
