The great British summer is upon us! My morning walk outfit is now wax jacket (winter coat) shorts and boots.
No Flip flops and t-shirts here, unless you want to appear on the local news…”Walker found frozen to death, etc”
We had summer last week, it was glorious, warm mornings and a gentle breeze, temperatures in the 80’s. This week it’s howling gales, hail, thunder and lots of rain.
Sometimes I can really hate this climate. The only winter gear I’ve put away so far is my thermals and heated gilet.
Can’t wait for winter, at least we know what to expect!
